Radio 2 is USUALLY my station of choice whilst cruising about, however, I’d have to rethink this as of recent thanks to the following lyrics:
“Let’s go crazy, crazy, crazy till we see the sun
I know we only met but let’s pretend it’s love
And never, never, never stop for anyone
Tonight let’s get some
And live while we’re young”
These were brought to you by Americas “Favorite new group” with the “Favorite new album”
who also opened the BBC Radio 1 teen awards ‘One Direction’
I mean REALLY, ‘tonight let’s get some’ hmm, I wonder what on earth they could be getting.
As if the youth culture now wasn’t subjected to enough references of sex
As for the rest, lyrics used to be seen as poetry; this is far from it. Its just mindless dribble and immoral loose themes.
It just saddens me I guess and there is no way to restrict people from listening to music or stop people from releasing such rubbish. It is never going to stop. Sad fact of the matter is.
